Installation of charging stations and electrification of the fleet

Luxembourg

The Stëftung Hëllef Doheem embraced electromobility in 2014/2015, when its Care and Support Centres introduced the use of pedelecs for some of their care rounds. At the same time, the centres in Luxembourg City and Diekirch also received their first electric cars (Renault Zoé).

Hëllef Doheem are currently in the planning phase to increase the number of electric vehicles through the addition of smart cars. They will simultaneously be working on having charging stations installed at various centres across the country.

In the coming years, the electromobility project will gradually increase the number of electric vehicles and expand the charging infrastructure.

The goal of the project is to reduce Hëllef Doheem’s environmental impact, as well as to expand the electromobility component of their fleet of several hundred vehicles.
