An interministerial working group (Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, Ministry of the Economy, Ministry of Mobility and Public Works), supported by Klima-Agence, the national organisation for energy and climate matters, was established to develop a participatory approach to promote the electrification of mobility and transport in Luxembourg. This initiative, called Initiativ Stroum beweegt – Elektresch an d’Zukunft, brings together various private and public stakeholders with a view to accelerating the decarbonisation of the transport sector in Luxembourg and the transition to electric mobility. 

This consolidated approach aims to highlight existing national measures, introduce future ones and develop common practices as well as a feeling of good will towards a market which is developing increasingly rapidly. Discussions between experts, the signing of a joint commitment charter and the awarding of a label are all geared towards the development and promotion of concrete measures that have a positive impact on individual participants and on Luxembourg society as a whole.
