Second call for projects which will allow the granting of aid to companies investing in the installation of charging stations
The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Energy and Spatial Planning are jointly launching a second call to stimulate projects from companies wishing to invest in the installation of electric-vehicle charging infrastructure.
Open from January 1 and until May 31, 2023, the call has a maximum budget of 5 million euros and aims to finance projects for charging stations for electric vehicles, accessible to the public and private, whose load capacity is at least equal to 175 kilowatts.
Regardless of its size, any company with a charging infrastructure deployment project can submit its project. If this is accepted, the company will be able to benefit from aid, granted in the form of a subsidy that can cover up to 50% of the investments linked to the deployment of the charging stations.
This call for projects follows the first call for projects (link) which was open from July 30 to September 30, 2022.
The specifications can be downloaded from Guichet.lu (link) and projects can be submitted via MyGuichet from 1 January 2023.
It is recommended that interested companies seek the support of Luxinnovation and the Klima-Agence, which offer free support for setting up projects.
